Telmo Rodriguez named these rarities “Mountain Wines” after the 17th century English expression for sweet moscatel wines from the Malaga region. The vineyards are dramatic and spectacular, situated in steep shale slopes where not even donkeys can climb.MR is a young wine from the Malaga mountains. More specifically, it comes from fruit that is harvested early on, and the wine does not see any aging in wood. It allows for a sublime fresh expression of the slate site.
