Also from fruit grown only in the La Encantada vineyard, there are delightful aromas and flavors of berries, cherries, and plums with intriguing spice and smoke notes in this still young Pinot Noir. Lively acidity speaks to age-worthiness. Six different clonal selections of Pinot Noir, all from within the Santa Rita Hills AVA, were utilized in the making of this wine. Aging in second-year French barrels keeps the oak in balance.
